Another year has flown by in a flash?! The shop has taken up most of my time with a few wonderful freelance photography and styling jobs in between (which I have been meaning to share) but alas no time in between the doing to share, so I have something for this little space in January now?!
Before we get the hibernation fully underway, I just wanted to share these beautiful pages from Hans Blomquist’s new book ‘Inspired by Nature’ another beauty filled with details to pour over and ideas to implement, using colours, textures and finds from Nature.
This is a visual feast of Hans’ own photography and styling, wild and wonderful installations that can be achieved in any space with a bit of careful thought and an eye for filling a gap – showcasing a single stem in all its glory in a small room or dragging half a birch tree inside if you have a bit more room to play with – (something we often do around here)! As with all of Hans’ glorious books, this one will encourage you to experiment with colour and shape, leave you giddy and excited and then take you on a tour of all his favourite nature-inspired homes. The perfect winter read!
