Pearl Lowe’s Bohemian Beach House kitchen

Fancy a Friday interiors treat – how about a photo tour around Pearl Lowe’s Bohemian Beach House kitchen? My obsession with vintage-styled and rustic kitchens is well established (see more over here on my favourite Pinterest board). So when I got a peek of the beautiful kitchen designed by Pearl Lowe and her husband, Danny – my vintage-loving heart wanted to see more. The kitchen was created in their seaside home with deVOL and their timeless Real Shaker Kitchen, I love that by mixing and matching they have created an inspiring and magical central room in their summer hideaway, a real ‘heart of the home’.

With Pearl’s exceptional eye for creating interior spaces that weave together old and new, bought and found, this room is a place I’d love to spend some time in. The Shaker kitchen is simply designed with just one long run of ‘Linen’ cupboards and a ‘Scullery Yellow’ island/prep table with a copper worktop and simple open shelving. There are handmade tactile tiles for the splashback which reflect the light and have a calm and beachy feel to them, perfect for a beachside home.

With warm white walls, dark rosy pink vases, lamps with fringing, faded patterned textiles, and some signature lace pieces this is a cool and romantic kitchen. The whole space has a light and airy feeling but with all those original decor pieces for interest that add a relaxed and homely feel, a kitchen that makes folks want to stay and hang out. Perfect as Pearl & Danny love gathering family and friends together as often as possible and who’d want to ever leave such a warm and inviting eclectic space? I bet they never get the place to themselves!
