URBAN JUNGLE BLOGGERS MAY – OUR WHOLE PLANT GANG

URBAN JUNGLE BLOGGERS MAY – OUR WHOLE PLANT GANG

How exciting?! I cannot wait to get over and visit the other plant gangs from all over the world after I hit publish! x

So here they are, my unruly gang of green friends, quietly creeping all around our home, but mostly in the office (our shared desk is on the other side of the room).

They seem to be spilling in and out of the house these days, I am looking forward to more hot days like today so we can have the office doors open on to the garden.

We share our home with a jumble of herbs, ferns, ivy, my large leafed fatsia japonica (gaining inches each day), cacti and succulents in abundance. Just need a giant cheese plant or vine now to complete the family 😉

They are mostly displayed on old stools, ladders and chests, depending on my mood each week, whether something has outgrown it’s current position or what new (old) furniture I happen upon on my travels – it’s amazing what people throw out and I love rescuing abandoned furniture!

I get asked quite often where all my pots are from? Well, I source them from junk shops, boot fairs, jumble sales and Etsy has some really beautiful handmade and unique creations. We also discovered a whole bunch of antique terracotta pots in the shed when we moved in to this house, which was a real treat.

It is hard to express just how happy they make me! Nature really is my favourite colour, and thats my gang, I hope you liked meeting them?! Happy weekend and planting x
