Hello hello, it’s with great excitement that I can finally share my Crafting The Seasons post with you! Remember all those weeks ago when I went to Liberty’s and helped create a floral fabric bomb site with lots of other crafty bloggers? Well, now you can see what I finally made with all those Liberty floral fabrics I have been collecting over the years!

Gift Wrap – For my Liberty Christmas, I thought it would be fun to wrap presents in squares of beautiful Tana Lawn – that way the giftee ends up with re-useable wrapping to make something with or wrap another gift in. Earth friendly and fun!

Baby Bunting – With the scraps left over from many other sewing projects, I whipped up some teeny tiny but colourful bunting, to decorate these painted twigs, (salvaged from the garden)!

Bauble ties – I also had enough small scraps left over to make strings for hanging up these paper decorations. I splash painted the plain white honeycomb baubles to match the colours in the fabric ties, which were simply glued inside. May I add that most of the paint ended up all over the table and my arms!

Party Hats – These really do take me to my happy place! To make these colourful party hats, I covered basic cardboard cone hats (from the party isle at the supermarket) with strips of double sided tape and then covered them with my favourite Liberty florals and cut around the edges. Once the fabric was secure I trimmed them with crepe paper frills, ribbons, rhine stones and pompoms!

So as you can see, the man-ish, minimalist bedroom just got a magical Liberty of London inspired makeover, the husband isn’t too worried as come the 1st of January it will be returned into his rustic safe haven!
