remember that I featured Italian designer Tommaso Guerra’s work before. I loved his warm cosy design of the Depero Club in Rieti. Now he has just completed his newest interior design project, Cicero a cafe and bistro in the heart of the Prati district in Rome.

early in the mornings until late at night, Cicero, is decorated in pastel colours, light wood and colourful fabrics. With a Nordic feel throughout, there are also some unexpected and whimsical additions like an oversized twig nest above one of the seating areas, a gathering of wooden birds houses covering a patterned wall and tens of lampshades hanging from the ceiling.

the pastel edges of these shelves below, and the way they face different directions, creating interest in a corner. Italy is high on the wishlist for future travel plans, so maybe I will get to enjoy my breakfast in these beautiful surroundings one day?
