INSPIRED LIVING – EVA KOSMAS FLORES’ PORTLAND HOME

INSPIRED LIVING – EVA KOSMAS FLORES’ PORTLAND HOME

The recipes and food styling created by Eva Kosmas Flores have been catching my eye and making my heart sing for months. Top that with a beautiful Portland home remodel project and I am in paradise, so I had to share her wonderful home and photographs here with you.

The home Eva shares with her husband Jeremy (and their cat, two dogs and flock of hens) is so beautiful, from their renovated kitchen to her menagerie of chickens. The moody tones and delicate but rustic details are exactly the kind of look and feel we hope to achieve here in our own home, including som hens one day! All photographs in this post taken by Eva Kosmas Flores jump over here, to spend some time in her magical world.

A photographer by day and amazing recipe maker, food stylist and blogger by night, Eva’s home is filled with charm, memories and joy. It’s so much hard work reimagining and renovating an old house (don’t we know it) and she has put so much soul into it. I love all the rooms and corners that Eva has shared with the world and it’s helping me keep focused on getting this place livable!

The place where lots of the magic happens, white units for miles and lovely dark rustic work surfaces, the perfect backdrop for Eva’s food preparation and photography. Views out to the garden and glints of shiny copper here and there. It feels so bright in daylight, but cosy too.

What do I even need to say about these sweet little beauties?!

I love this double shaded wall treatment and the dusty brownish grey tones paired with the cheery green from plants.

The bedroom and bathroom makeover was my favourite post so far. The bedroom is so bright and airy now (see before here).
