Yesterday I got a surprise treat in my inbox from Cassandra Ellis, an email to share the launch of her new paint collection and I have to say her colour palette just drew me in immediately. January days are notoriously gloomy and this pretty gathering of hues made me smile as soon as I saw them. I think you will love them too. Just the right amount of delicate feminine and soft masculine shades to make everyone happy.

A palette of 18 calm, luminous colours that provide a ‘quiet, enveloping’ backdrop for homes. This collection of colours is designed to work together in harmony and is deeply rooted in the natural world, as well as inspirations from Cassandra’s personal memories. It makes me wish we had a house with enough rooms to try out each colour!

Cassandra says the colours can soften a contemporary apartment, or infuse a traditional home, full of antiques. Whites, Pales, Mediums and Darks are all hand-mixed to order in London. I feel the darks are like a deep hug and the lights are uplifting.

I had a good snoop around Cassandra’s whole website and loved everything I saw. I hope you like these interior images from her recent decor projects. Isn’t this soft pink sofa a beauty?!

This is my favourite colour from the whole collection ‘Fallen Plum’ the name itself is just delightful and it is a delicious, cosy dark with just enough warmth and richness. Add gold accents on frames and furniture for a dusting of glamour and opulence.

I have also fallen absolutely head over heels for this charming Victorian Terrace remodel in Peckham. Once decrepit but now revived and refined with more light – highlighting the period features.
