This summer has been lived in the half light, boiling hot and bright one day and dark grey, thunder and lightning for the next three. The darkness is already taking it’s toll here and with photos to be taken most days, we are trying everything we can to maximise light.
With that in mind and making the most of indoor pursuits on rainy days – we decided to paint the office floor white. I already knew the shade, it was always going to be Farrow and Ball – All White. I have enjoyed tracking down these images of bright rooms with white painted floors for inspiration (and to keep me on track to get this finished by Friday)! I can’t wait to show you the new room next week. I hope you enjoyed the holiday weekend despite the downpours. x
